Brand Strategy
Brand Identity
Aura Holdings, a retirement community developer, had not refreshed its brand in over 10 years. As the business evolved into a more premium offering, the identity and messaging no longer reflected the experience or resonated with its audience. Key points of difference were unclear, communication was inconsistent, and marketing was fragmented across individual villages rather than expressed as a unified brand. With no prior campaign activity and limited customer insight, there was little understanding of how people discovered Aura or why they chose it.
We started by speaking directly with residents and prospective customers through a series of focus groups, uncovering the real motivations, concerns and decision-making triggers behind choosing Aura. These insights challenged internal assumptions and clarified where the brand was falling short.

Rather than rebuilding everything, we refined what already worked and rebalanced what didn’t, keeping the strongest visual foundations while evolving messaging and imagery to better reflect perception and value. The outcome was a refreshed messaging platform and new campaign direction, including a clearer, more resonant tagline. A unified brand voice now connects all villages under one identity, setting the foundation for future storytelling and growth.
Thank you to the Aura Marketing team and to all the focus groups' participants.
